Humphry Knipe is a graduate of Rhodes University, South Africa, where he majored in History and English. He is co-author of The Dominant Man (Delacorte 1972), a study of animal and human "pecking orders" which has been translated in five languages. Since his immigration to the United States in 1975 he has worked as a film writer, editor and Internet web site administrator.
	The Nero Prediction has won high praise from Michael Grant, the renowned authority on ancient Rome as well as Miriam Griffin of Oxford University, both of whom have authored biographies of Nero.

Humphry Knipe lives on a ranch in Malibu Canyon, California with his wife photographer Suze Randall and twenty horses.
